Several years ago, Mike Olivieri was looking to hire a pitching coach for his son, Mikey. Mike contacted Mike Grady, and Coach Grady has worked with Mikey to improve his pitching ever since.

Olivieri believed in Grady’s mission to develop young pitchers and approached him about partnering to open a new baseball facility in the Canton area that aims to help all area baseball and softball athletes improve their speed, agility, power, and focus. With Olivieri’s construction and business knowledge combined with Grady’s baseball background, Velocity Sports was formed and opened for business in October 2016.
